Tami Wilson yeah, and it’s talking about cats, and dogs, NOT birds. Google is free, use it… The person is doing their best to find the owner. I wish the owner was doing their best to find the bird. All they have to do is call LHS. But they haven’t. So apparently they’re either not aware it’s missing yet, or they don’t care. The people being so rude with this OP are ridiculous!

Shannon Marie Gilley-Jones, the following has been posted numerous times on lost and found pets of Lexington. That's what I was going by, and it is imperative that steps be taken to find the owner, as apparently the OP intended.

Lori Schultz oh brother!!!! You think they should put it under “vetritnary” care before trying to find the owner?For Pete’s sake the people are doing everything they can. Why don’t you show a little appreciation for them making sure the bird is in experienced hands, and trying their best to find the owner!!?? Nah people like you sit at your house, and do nothing but judge others online. Go actually do something for others karen. Go volunteer, touch grass, or ANYTHING besides sitting on your “do nothing” and looking down your nosey nose at the people who ARE doing something!

Please remove crackers...harmful. go to pet store that sells birds and get food appropriate for parakeets. Also, half way up poke a hole on each side and run a tree limb thru, make sure limb about 3/4 inch in diameter. Gently lift bird and hold over limb touching feet to limb til it takes hold...maybe pet store can loan you a cage t il owner is found. Are there metal and plastic rings on one leg ?
