Message from Owner

Hey yall my name is Bailey and I am exhausting all options on bringing our sweet Lazzlo home safely. We just moved to Honea Path on the 21st. We think he got out sometime during the early morning of the 26th. We have a doggy door that had a cover on it but believe he knocked it down and got out through the screened in porch. Lazzlo is very sweet and very loving. He’s on the bigger side of size so if you do see him and try to pick him up, please be careful and lift him like you’re hugging his belly. He will answer to Lazzy or Lizard and loves to brush his head against yours, please if you have seen him around Central Ave in Honea Path, help us bring him home safely. We will welcome you and him with open arms! Thank you for all your help.

Bailey Marie Thank you for having him neutered. If you haven't already, put up flyers everywhere as many people aren't on social media. Give flyers to every vet clinic, rescue, and shelter in case he turns up. Ask your neighbors to check their cameras, garages, sheds, and crawlspaces. Look up in trees in case he was chased. Walk the neighborhood in the wee hours with a flashlight and look for glowing eyes. Call him in a regular voice (not panicked) and gently shake a treat bag if he likes that kind of stuff. He's probably hunkered down and hiding nearby, but he may not answer you when you call - that's just instinctual, as a vocal cat gives away their location to predators. Put his beds/ blankets and some of your dirty clothes on your porches and around the perimeter of your yard. If he tore the screen on the porch to get out, reinforce it with some hardware cloth. Or, if you have a fenced-in yard, consider putting up cat-fencing or coyote rollers on top of the fence in case he escapes out of the house again. When he comes home, please get him microchipped and be sure to register the chip online. Good luck ❤️

Suzy Creamcheese yes he’s neutered, no he’s not chipped, he’s an indoor cat, and we moved about 11 minutes away.

Is he neutered? Microchipped? Was he an indoor/outdoor cat at his last home, and how far away is your old home?
