please call Humane Society in animal care and control 311 and see if anybody has reported this baby missing that’s the first place you start go on their webpage then you start calling every vet in your area within like 10 miles and let them know. They will actually ask you to send a picture of this kitty cat to them by email, and hopefully you can find its owners. Thank you for being kind. Please keep this baby safe.🙏🐾🙏

Here’s how you can assess the situation: **Observe the Cat’s Behavior**: A lost cat might seem disoriented, scared, or vocal. It could also be thin, dirty, or injured and may need help. However, if the cat appears calm, healthy, and well-groomed, it could just be exploring. **Check for Identification**: Look for a collar or ID tag with contact information. If the cat has one, it’s likely a pet and not lost. **Scan for a Microchip**: If the cat doesn’t have visible ID, you can have it scanned for a microchip at a local vet (emergency vets are open 24/7), pet store, shelter, or one of the shelter’s Microchip Checkpoint Partners across Mecklenburg County (see link below). You can also call 311 to request an officer to come to your home to scan the cat for a microchip.
