I know the local stray cats around building 8 and 6, but I found this sweet girl at the top of the building 8 staircase today and she is definitely someone's pet. She looks well taken care of and was meowing loudly. I tried to approach her, but she got scared and ran off. I lost sight of her, but I am keeping an eye out to try and safely catch her. Hoping this helps her family find her!

I'm sorry, I crossed this with another post. For a found cat, do require proof of ownership, take by vet to scan for chip, file online found reports with shelters, and post on Nextdoor and post flyers.

File online found reports with shelters. Post on Nextdoor and post flyers. Put something outside with the kitty's scent on it and call the cat's name at night when quiet and shake food container. Check in trees and keep checking shelters.
