Description

Clyde is a Russian Blue gray cat not fixed and does not have a chip. He is a kitty about 10 months old and just recently came to our care.

Message from Owner

Clyde is a very sweet kitty, very affectionate and loves to be around people. He is about 8-10 months old and we are nervous for him. Prayers for his safe return! He has a collar with his name, my number, and address but it could have fallen off during a cat fight. He is not neutered yet and does not have a chip.

A cat that looks like this has been by and wondered in my house a few times recently. He came by my front door at 5am. I am mid block on Thomas between Fanuel and Everts sharing an alley with Grand. He might be smitten with my girl, Sylvie. I’ll try to invite him in next time and check his collar.

Last night about 10pm my nephew came in the house telling me he just saw a cat on our back fence by alley at 1145 Grand Av,. I just showed him this photo, and he says that it looked very much like this cat. It ran off when he tried to approach the cat.

Searching for him is the fastest way to get him back: 🐾 Sad seeing so many kitties go missing just this week. Poor baby, he must be so scared and hungry out on his own. When a cat goes missing, they can’t easily find their way home using only their scent. You must be proactive and look for them. 🔦 Look under cars, bushes & hedges, look for glowing eyes w/flashlight, call his name at dusk when it’s quiet and they come out from hiding to eat. Posting is important, but please search for him, too. They don’t go far, 3-4 houses away, they stay in one place until they are scared off by dogs, coyotes, or loud noises. The challenge is finding him before he gets further away. 📣Please hang flyers near the area he went missing, it’ll let your neighbors know you’re looking for him and get the immediate attention from pedestrians and drivers. You’re the one that can bring him home safely, he’ll recognize your voice, footsteps and your scent. Post on ND, check SDHS Lost & Found daily. If you’re able to find him, PLEASE, please don’t let him out unattended. Cats have the intelligence of a 3yo, they don’t know the dangers, they face outdoors with coyotes, dogs, cars, and worst of all evil people who taunt or injure cats. It only takes an hour to train a cat on a leash, then he can be outdoors safely with you. 🐈‍⬛ Good luck finding this gorgeous little guy 🐾💙🐾
