Robin Robinson it wasn't the house that made it home. It was the person that made it home.

Robin Robinson I disagree. Cats can be successfully re-homed. Leaving a cat in an empty home, once shared with his deceased owner is actually more traumatizing that removing it into a loving home. In a new home it gets used to new smell and such. The cat left in empty house to socialize feral cats (in a house that's a daily reminder of human that will ever return) actually seems quite thoughtless, imo. Just my thoughts in the matter. Let's this serve as a reminder to all pet owners to have clear arrangements and legal directives about pets. Do not procrastinate in this issue.
