D Diane Wells I can see you care about the cat, and you both lay claim to him. Taking him from and all but empty home, where he was left to socialize feral cats, after losing his beloved owner, may seem a fair act legally, especially by the person who had taken him to the vet and paid the bill.. I am not an atty nor judge, but just saying that it seems only answer now. Everybody be calm and let the judge decide. Is there other issues between the 2 parties not being spoken of publicly?

Then you unilaterally went back on our agreement and decided that you would keep him.
