Message from Owner

Our 7-year-old Bernedoodle was heavily spooked by fireworks on the evening of July 3rd and bolted into the woods. He is terrified and has been out for 24 hours. He has never bitten anyone, and is NOT aggressive. ⚠️ PLEASE DO NOT CHASE HIM. ⚠️ Calling his name gently is fine, but because he is so scared, he might run further if anyone tries to catch him, chase him, or try’s to corner him. If you spot him, please do not try to grab him. Just keep an eye on him from a distance and text or call us IMMEDIATELY with the exact location. We are heartbroken and desperately want to get him secured. Please share this with anyone staying at Little Arrow or living near Townsend Highway! Call/Text with sightings: or

Sheila Humphrey a dog inside can get spooked and try to escape the house so you are saying every dog owner should have their dogs on a leash indoors when fireworks are being set off. I’ve had fireworks going off for over a week in my neighborhood. I try to be sure all doors are secure and the gate on my porch is secure but there are times a latch doesn’t latch like one thinks it did. Your comment is not helpful at this time for the post. We are all glad you are the perfect pet parent but don’t make pet owners who take care of their dog feel worse than they already do.

Sheila Humphrey how do you know he didn’t slip out a door when it was opened which is exactly what happened. I think maybe keeping comments constructive is a better use of this page.
