Talitha Leah I know how devastating it is to lose a beloved pet. One of my cats got out and was gone for a day and night. I couldn’t sleep or eat. I was just beside myself. I put the litter box outside and some food and he finally came home. If your cat is chipped, the chances of someone finding him and taking him to a vet are good. Hope he has a collar with ID.
