Found in poor condition. Covered in fleas was limping. German shepherd very sweet.

Found him alone with a female German shepherd she left and hasn’t come back, he is still in my possession. Very dehydrated and covered with fleas was hurt on his paw. Took him to the vet to get checked out. He is such a good boy. And very sweet I hope someone didn’t just leave him behind or he just very lost.

Did the vet treat the dog for his injury and dehydration? Finder needs to contact animal control or take to the shelter asap especially if the dog is injured. Any found dog should not be bathed to rid fleas etc as animals control and the shelter needs to see the full condition of the dog. If the dog is injured and dehydrated the shelter vet can assess and provide necessary treatments.

The shelter has been notified that you have the male that was caught on ring with her. Please call animal control or bring him to the shelter. He needs medical care and they may be a bonded pair. If you’re interested in adopting, let the shelter know that you will adopt at the end of the stray period.

Please call animal control and they will look into where this boy came from and try to find the other dog. The vet at the shelter will evaluate him. Owners will call there looking for their pets. Not everyone reads social media. Thank you for helping him.
