I have 2 peas in a pod but one pea has been gone for 3 days. Cat Man, his older adopted brother is beside himself with grief and confusion. He’s listening his best friend. Robin was just breaking out of the skittishness and letting me pet him. It has taken 6 months to have him let us touch him for he was quite feral. He has a very very high pitched meow. Like it’s quite abnormal. Extremely high pitched meow. Much appreciated!

Lost cat 2026 - - If kitty is an indoor cat it will typically stay in a 3 to 7 house radius of her home. - Indoor/outdoor cats can be up to 17 plus days houses away. - Kitty will hide during the day and only come out after dark between dusk and dawn. - Kitty may not come when called. - The majority of cats return home between 2 and 4 AM. - Leave your garage and porch doors open or leave a window open that kitty can climb through. - Make a scent trail in your yard and on your porch with your unwashed laundry and sheets. Hang items over bushes and on your porch railing. Let trail lead to your front door, open garage or open window. - Around 10PM put out rotisserie chicken (warm it so that the smell really carries). - Throughout the night get up and go out side. Walk the 3 to 5 house radius and call softly, listen carefully. - Look both high and low. Kitty could be stuck up in a tree or locked in a neighbor's garage. - A lady reported finding her cat recently. She set her alarm for 2 am, opened her front door, turned on her TV on low, placed an open can of cat food in the house near the door. Kitty came walking into the house. - One man set his alarm and got up every hour and another slept on the couch and heard the cat scratching at the door. - Another tip is to warm chicken stock and makes a trail of it from the street or yard up to the house. Even pour it in the bushes and trees where the wind could carry the smell. - Other people have used catnip to help lure their cat home. - Use a flashlight to look for your cat’s eyes at night. - You will lose sleep, but this has worked Good luck and don’t give up!

Place kitty’s favorite toy, bedding, litter box, even if you cleaned it out, preferably all in a fenced yard. I would also put a used pillowcase of the owner and some old shoes of the owner with it .If you have a garage lift the door enough for kitty to sip under. This is what my vet had me do when my boy was missing for three days.

My very shy cats have always chosen some place to hide, even for days without food. Is there a space where he could have crawled into like under your house? Or neighbors houses? Check with neighbors in back and front of your street as well as the sides. Put up flyers to spread around.
