Shared as Public! Is he microchipped? File a Lost Report with the local Animal Control - you can do it online at https://www.sanjoseca.gov/your-government/departments/animal-care-services/lost-and-found-pets Their phone # is 1(408)794-7297 The Shelter will place your animal on the PetHarbor website which is a very helpful tool when trying to locate a lost/found pet. Put flyers around where he went missing, outside of local businesses, and even door to door. Distribute to local Veterinary Offices too! Also post on NextDoor.com to give it additional exposure. Hope he is found soon

When I moved and took my cats one of them disappeared. Two months later he showed up at my old house 13 miles away! The next door neighbor at the old house called me to let me know and I went and picked him up. Took him to vet to be checked over. He was dehydrated and to make sure his kidneys weren't damaged they kept him overnight on fluids.

I think I might have seen him but I'm not exactly sure. A cat keeps coming in an out behind our house when where doing laundry.

Try placing some of your stinky/used clothing outside of the front and back of the new house so he can smell you guys and find his way back to the new home. Sometimes a litterbox outside can alert outdoor cats to a stranger in their territory and scare off the "new" cat. But your used clothing should only attract your cat to come home. I hope this helps!

Also let friends/neighbors at old house be on the lookout. Probably investigating new area, but some have headed to old home.
