If they sell the dog to someone that person is most likely not going to be on Lost Pet groups looking for an owner. They are just going to be enjoying their new dog. You have to post on the regular groups for your city not the Lost Pet groups. Different Target market. Lost Pet groups are full of other owners also looking for their pets or rescue volunteers. You want to post in groups that reach the city not just a specific niche of the community. The exception to this is the neighborhood apps because they reach your vicinity next door reaches two to four miles around you. Neighbors by ring reaches approximately 8 so it has really good reach. Owners need to be on both. And I cannot stress this enough you have to put reward with the amount, cross street & city They have to be first! Otherwise you risk people scrolling past your post and they don't open it to read the details.

Those two apps are like an amber alert to your immediate neighborhood to get the word out quickly to multiple people at one time. They are much faster and more effective than flyers.

Frenchies don’t go far. They are usually picked up on the same street or the next one over. PUT A REWARD WITH THE AMOUNT! PEOPLE IGNORE THE WORD REWARD ONLY. If it's the first day $300 - $500 should be good. Knock on doors. Flyers flyers flyers. Use your car as a flyer.

⭐️1. Personally go into Animal Control Shelter & Pet Shelters because they don’t upload new intakes right away on websites and some not at all. Desk people don’t know all the dogs they have in kennels. Take receipt of annual vaccinations with you. ⭐️2. Notify microchip registrar of missing. ⭐️3. Post on Craigslist under Community in Pets to prevent anyone from selling there.
