Put a scent station outside such as the pet’s bed and some unwashed clothing of his owner. File a lost dog report with HSPPR.

I sent you a PawBoost email with lots of tips. Should you not receive it it's posted at the top of my page. There are lots of links to other local Lost and Found Facebook pages to save you time and having to search for them, along with links to places to report found/lost pets. There's a video link on how to catch a loose and normally scared dog (e.g. calling their name can send them running the other way if in survival mode, don't chase, etc.) and a video link about putting out your dirty laundry so the dog can smell his way home. Dogs can smell up to 11 miles away. Plus, many more ideas to help.

Dogs hide because there scared but don't go far at all. 90% are in bushes, yours or neighbors. Check whole block. Knock on doors ask go in backyard. Check under deck, in shed, window wells, any place to hide. WALK the path went missing, walk 2 X day plus at night when it's quiet. Put up flyers on doors. Do so immediately. File a Lost Report with Humane Society. Prayers 🙏
