Some info might be irrelevant, but I include it nonetheless. Please check when quiet night and early morning. I know someone who checked under bushes along property during day and nothing. Went back out at night and there was her cat same place she looked 3 times during the day. Another friend sat outside early morning when quiet called her cat, heard a faint meow and he was under her deck. Someone just the other day went out middle of night and found that her cat crossed a busy road and was afraid to cross it again to come back home. Also try a flashlight to see glowing eyes. Could he be stuck behind or in something in the house. Check behind walls, inside and behind cabinets or drawers. Check in ceiling etc. Ask your neighbors to check their sheds, garages etc. Also put up bright colored flyers. Best of luck. Shared.
