If this is an indoor only cat that never goes out, look close. Indoor only cats when lost get scared and hide because it is unknown territory and usually do not come out when you call. Usually are within 3 or 4 houses . Put out something with your scent such as a piece of clothing or blanket. Call at dusk, dawn and night and shake the treats. Get in your neighbour's yards and look under decks, sheds, in trees, bushes or anywhere they can hide. Put up lots of posters. If you are searching at night, use a flashlight as their eyes glow in the dark. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=388310901737884

Put out things that smell of both of u maybe litterbox too. Start knocking on doors leave your number on paper for them ask people to check anything they had open garages sheds seacans under porches in hedges up trees even power poles. Take this walk everyday 2 Blk area around your house. Talk and leave your number with as many as u can. Shake a container of dry food and call. Someone has seen your cat. Remember too cats love ke the dark could be coming home while u sleep. Don't give up.

Attached is Information to help find your Lost Cat Start the calling method as soon as you realize your cat is missing. Call from where your cat went missing. Call it’s name repeatedly for 10 mins. Repeat that every 30 mins while shaking treats and listening to hear if it responds by calling back. Consistency is key. Your cat will likely be very scared and very close by. Use a flashlight when searching at night when it is quieter, as their eyes reflect the light when they are hidden in shrubs etc. Many indoor cats return when its quiet and dark, usually 10pm-6:30am, if possible leave your door/window open slightly for it to return. Put out some of your smelliest worn clothing (runners, sweaty shirts and socks) with your scent on and keep calling for it frequently as it will likely hear your voice and work out the direction of your home. Replace clothing each day so that the strong scent is maintained. It may take a few days for it to get the confidence to return. DO NOT place a cat litter tray out as this may attract other cats, especially Tom cats and predators which will frighten your cat away. Search your yard and your neighbors yards/patios/garage/sheds/bushes thoroughly. If possible, put posters up in your neighbourhood to inform neighbours that your cat is missing. Ask neighbours if they would kindly check their sheds etc in case your cat was accidentally locked inside one of them.
