Message from Owner

We miss our Opie! She got out unexpectedly at 2:30 this morning. She tends to sneak out the door. She responds to Opal, Opal grace or Opie. She’s super vocal and sweet and food motivated. Please let us know if you see her :(

My cat went missing a few times! One time I found him stuck in someone's window well, another time he walked into someone's garage and they were going to keep him but they saw my flyers and called me, another time he got stuck under someone's deck. I had to walk and call for him and looking everyday until it was very late at night everyone was in and it was quiet out and I heard his faint meow. Another time my girl cat got out when we were moving and she didn't come home for 14 days. Turns out the neighbor mean cat attacked her she had wounds on her head so she was too afraid to come home. I walked and called for her day and night. She came home at 4:00 a.m. I'm telling you my story to help you so that you can look for your cat. I wish you all the best! The flyers really help the neighbors will help you look

General Information: Set up a scent station. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.

🐾 Lost Cat Search Tips • Go out late at night and early in the morning with a flashlight. Call your cat’s name, then pause and listen carefully. If you don’t hear anything, keep moving slowly through the area. • Check hiding spots nearby, including: • Garages • Window wells • Under cars • Bushes and shrubs • Decks and porches • Talk to your neighbors and ask them to check their properties, sheds, and garages. • Place dirty laundry or familiar-smelling items outside your home to help your cat find their way back. • Contact your cat’s microchip company and report them as lost. • Check local animal shelters frequently—visit in person if possible. • Post on: • Facebook lost & found pet groups • PawBoost • Create flyers and posters with a clear photo and your contact info. Hand them out and place them in visible areas. • ⚠️ Do NOT put out a litter box, as it can attract other animals and may discourage your cat from returning.

Get out calling Kitty's name especially early and late when it's quiet. Search high and low with the flashlight. Put up posters with number large enough to be seen while driving. And posts on next door com
