Shared. Post Cloud on Nextdoor as well and check frequently for updates on both websites. Contact local rescue groups just in case. Check the shelters frequently, both online and in person. File a missing report while you're there. Not everyone checks social media, post flyers in the area. Include veterinary offices and pet stores when you post the flyers. Ask your neighbors to check their garages, back yards, storage sheds, under porches and parked vehicles, etc. Be there with a carrier and a bag of Cloud's favorite treats when they check. Shake the bag of treats while calling out to him. Keep your voice calm. Any stress in your voice will alert him to stay hidden. Around the neighborhood, check bushes and trees, under parked vehicles, and out of the way spots. Cats can squeeze themselves into very tight spaces! So keep that in mind when you go searching. Search areas where he might be looking for food, water, and shelter (like the dumpster area of a restaurant, for example). Best time to search is when it's quieter outside - right before it gets dark. Take a flashlight, the carrier, and the bag of treats. Good luck 💓
