Shinobu is a Community kitty. She is a TNR. Trap,Neutered male,Spayed female, Released. Before we noticed her around saw she was homeless, started feeding her. She was not feral in the sense bolting upon SEEING a human. She was wary but eventually,after about 2 years of attempting to pet her as she strolled by..getting a slap by her never clawed. One evening my son sat on the floor just inside the screen door that she had been accustomed to seeing open coming to visiting with our 3 other cats. While he sat she sashayed by he reached out and stroked her from shoulders to tail. She turned to slap him but decided...WOW that pet was nice!!! So, back and forth she walked getting loves! Then, one day he pulled her onto his lap! We both cried when she let us love her. She didn't want to be inside only for cuddles. Although, we had a warm wind, rain proof hse for her. We haven't seen her in 3 days, as of today! We have had ALOT of Coyote activity in our neighborhood. Although, she is savy and knows Coyotes I'm afraid she's become federal! I'm hoping she gets home. Shinobi means Ninja..I pray she practices her skills. She's been streetwise about 4 years...I'm working so hard at getting her inside for good..I have manged with 2 of the 4 of them. I really doubt shed go past the gates here..a 55 and over community. Everyone in here are aware of the animals around. We feed her well and love on her everyday. Please help me get her home!
