Put up posters w/ph.no./email 1 to 10 mile radius, ask anyone if they know the owner, put the posters near the roadway and businesses so people will see them!! Email All VETS a poster w/ph.no./email, ask them if they know the owner, is he microchipped and registered?? Put a sign in your yard or on the street corner, FOUND LOST DOG, get Proof of Ownership!! A dog like this one could be claimed and either sold or used in Dog Fights!! Check Pawboost, Pawboost Community, Next Door, X, & 24petconnect periodically, you can also put him online with Next Door, X, &24petconnect because some people don't come online FB!! There are LOST AND FOUND ALAMANCE COUNTY, NC online here and some that have a person's name!! Check with several pounds to see if anyone has called or come in about the dog!! If you elect not to keep the dog, PLEASE give him to someone you know well, a NO- SHELTER, SPCA (not ASPCA) or other organizations (except PETA), HUMANE SOCIETY, PLEASE do not give the dog to the pound, pounds have moved the days of euthanasia!!
