It’s probably this dog. Reading the post and hearing about its rough coat from being outside and seeing that the finder had to bathe and clip matting out makes it highly likely.

I had a friend in tech school who’s dog HOWLED if she was taken inside. She loved outside. Had a big play yard that she had full run of. Better life than a lot of “inside” dogs
