I found this dog injured and hiding in a corner on my porch this morning. I believe it’s a boy, but I’m not sure. Looks like it belongs to someone since it has a collar on. Needs immediate medical attention so I’ve reached out to rescues, but have had no luck. I’m waiting for animal services to open, so I can call them because I’m not sure what else to do. I just gave it some water and it did get up to drink a little which I’m hoping is a good sign that there’s still time left to save this poor baby. I believe it is dark gray and white, just dirty so hard to tell and looks like a pitbull or American bulldog to me.

Le Awake Ndrssen OMG that is awful and my heart breaks for the poor cat. Would this poor angel be better off being humanely euthanized? I am NOT a person to say this lightly because I love animals so much...but 17 yo and in pain...I honestly don't want to think it is suffering. I know you are trying and are obviously kind...but sometimes we have to think about the animal suffering. Please know that my message is innocent and bec I've seen my own animal suffer but we had to do what was best for him. Thank you for caring.

Amanda May I hear ya, just curious why they didn’t want to surrender and get help for their dog. Like, what were they planning on doing?! Unreal but glad he’s in good hands now.

Will Vriesenga they didn’t want to surrender so reacue couldn’t legally do anything but they finally gave King to Cindy at I Heart Dog Rescue so she has him being cared for now.

Lori Beth he is at the vet. Leg broken in several spots, possible amputation but we are strongly avoiding!! Broken jaw, and a huge internal blockage that is currently his biggest risk.
