I found this dog injured and hiding in a corner on my porch this morning. I believe it’s a boy, but I’m not sure. Looks like it belongs to someone since it has a collar on. Needs immediate medical attention so I’ve reached out to rescues, but have had no luck. I’m waiting for animal services to open, so I can call them because I’m not sure what else to do. I just gave it some water and it did get up to drink a little which I’m hoping is a good sign that there’s still time left to save this poor baby. I believe it is dark gray and white, just dirty so hard to tell and looks like a pitbull or American bulldog to me.

Jane Keller-Butts relax!!! I have not taken donations! And you should really watch your tone with me please. I wasn’t informed yet of that situation but I am now! When I made comments about taking donations he was at the vet. But was waiting to know where everything was going before making a gfm. It was never even made!

Amanda May he is ABSOLUTELY NOT AT THE VET!!!! I just spoke with Allison, the receptionist Deer Run Animal Hospital and she confirmed that King was picked up yesterday by the owners before I was fully aware of the truth. I made a $200 donation that I am having reimbursed… I told Allison that if King comes back for treatment that she can contact me and I will gladly reapply the donation but for now everybody following the story needs to be aware that KING IS NOT AT A VET .. DO NOT MAKE DONATIONS!!!

Tami Donaldson Luzzi I just saw Cindys post about the owners and I wasn’t aware of that. But to be clear, I have not taken a donation yet. That’s what I was waiting on. Clarification on the owners. That’s why I had asked people to be patient. I work with a different rescue but I know Cindy and offered to help since I was also tagged on this post. I assure you there are nothing but good intentions from this side!

Juli Blythe KING IS AT VET.. I just called and made a $200 donation directly to the vet. He was hit by a car. He has a broken leg and a broken jaw and apparently a foreign object embedded somewhere in his body. They were not able to give me the details on that. You can call the lovely receptionist at Deer Run animal Hospital in Deerfield at 954 421 2244 The estimate is 1500. Other donations have been made on Kings behalf. I am not sure how much. Please call and make a donation so they can move forward with the surgeries needed for him.

Jane Keller-Butts I'm sorry Jane but he Is NOT at the vet! He left the vet at 3pm yesterday with the owners with a broken leg and broken jaw and something in its stomach. I have NOTHING to gain from this . Kings vet bill is $950 Not $1500!!! I spoke to the vet 3x today!
