Message from Owner

Our family is heartbroken and just wants him home safe. He is an indoor cat and likely scared and hiding nearby. Please keep an eye out and check around your property, especially garages, sheds, bushes, porches, and under decks. Any sighting or information could help bring him back home. Thank you so much.

Chris Cannon St. Francis watch over him. Please advise well intentioned people seeing him to call you and not to pursue him and drive him away. If he stays in a particular area it'll be easier to lure him with sardines and trap him. Hopefully, not anyone else.

** Time is of the essence, for finding your lost cat. ** Your cat is probably nearby. Indoor cats usually find a hiding spot very quickly, and very close to where they escaped. Look up in the trees, and check under everything in YOUR YARD first… under decks, bushes, wood piles and sheds. Then check your neighbors yards. The best time to find your cat is at night, with a flashlight, when their eyes glow back at you. ***If your cat is scared, it will not respond to you calling him/her, so you'll have to use your eyes instead of your ears. *** ***When inside cats are suddenly outside, they can go into "survival mode,” and their entire personality changes.*** They, generally, will NOT wander. At least, not at first. (Unless they are not neutered/spayed.) Make sure to leave food and fresh water outside, in case they come out of hiding at night. Canned tuna (packed in oil) is nice and smelly. Also, a piece of your "worn" clothing, with your scent on it left outside, along with their bedding, with their scent on it, will definitely help. And, if you have a container or bag of treats that they really like.. shake it outside for your cat to hear. Also, leave your garage door or a window open a few inches in case it comes back at night. (5-7 inches.) [A special consideration in the cold weather, is to please CHECK UNDER THE HOOD of your vehicle! Oftentimes, a cat, especially an indoor only one, will seek out shelter or warmth in the engine area of your car. Do not start your vehicle, until you’ve checked! It is oftentimes fatal to your feline!] Hoping you find your cat very soon! ♥️ MS🐈

Lynn Marie, I have, I am also putting out Koha cat food (rabbit). I used to make homemade cat food with chicken, so he isn't a big fan of chicken. My wife is getting up at 4-6 am to check outside the house too. I'll try the rotisserie chicken tonight though. Thank you.

They usually don’t go far. Please check your garage, shed and under cars. Ask your neighbors to check their properties or see if they will let you check. You want to trap him or put out chicken or something smelly/yummy.

o I am Gojo's owner. I added my phone number. He is microchipped so I am reaching out to the manufacturer to report him missing. A neighbor had seen him and tried to approach him but he took off. I've been going out at dusk until 3am with a spot light each night looking for him or his eyes reflecting. He is a very sweet cat but only goes out if someone leaves the door open too long. Thank you all for your help. I am grateful.
