Please make sure to post to your local Community Facebook page. He is most likely hiding out close by. Make sure all your neighbors are aware he is out and ask them to keep an eye out and to also check their outdoor cameras for any sightings. Also, ask that they check their garages,sheds and any other outbuildings in case he accidentally got locked inside. Cats tend to hide under structures such as decks, patios, or inside sheds or anywhere else they can fit. Leave your garage door open a crack and place items with his scent and yours along with fresh water and food. Most times they come back toward dawn, or at dusk/night, which is when they feel most secure. Call out to him often so he can hear your voice. Cats can take their time coming home so try not to panic. It’s not unusual for them to take several days and even over a week to come home. Please keep us updated.
