MESSAGE FROM OWNER

We miss our boy, Stanley. Our pet sitter neglectfully lost him. He’s never been gone this long and we were out of town when he was lost and I can only assume he’s looking around for us trying to find us. He was last seen we believe January 4. If you see him, please reach out to us as soon as possible, we are worried sick about him that something bad has happened to him and every day he’s not in our hse or heartbreaks more worrying more about him. He is gray and white is a sweet cat, a little nervous at first, but very sweet and loving. If you see him, please message me as soon as possible. We have postings everywhere and signs all over the neighborhood he was last seen.

DESCRIPTION

Gray and white cat, neutered, microchipped, name is Stanley. Have more picture if you spot him to verify it’s him. We miss him dearly and are afraid he’s alone and cold. Please let us know if you spot him and where

I’m so sorry this happened!! He’s likely disoriented and lost, especially if he was chased by another animal. Most cats will stay in hiding when outdoors to protect themselves. You should keep walking around your neighborhood everyday, calling him and especially near dusk with a flashlight. Cats don’t usually wander more than 4-5 houses away. But since it’s been awhile, he could be much further. He needs to hear a familiar voice to come out of hiding. I wouldn’t give up searching and calling my cat for at least a few weeks. We know a family whose cat wandered our large neighborhood in Echo Farms going house to house for 2 whole months before they found him. You never know. You can bring dry cat food with you in a plastic container and shake it to get his attention, if he knows that sound. Just realize it might take a week or more to find him. Cats are excellent at hiding. But I wouldn’t give up searching at all. You can put his food and his used litter box somewhere outside of your house, which he can smell to help him find his way home. Put anything outdoors that has his or your scent on it, in a few different locations around your home. Cats can smell things from quite a distance. I would also post a few flyers with his photo on it in your neighborhood area. Because not everyone is on social media. We put flyers on mailboxes in our neighborhood one time when our cat disappeared. Also you might want to put up a security camera in the front and back of your house in case he shows up and you’re not around. Hope you find him.🙏💕💕
