Blonde German Shepherd

We found a female blonde German shepherd running back and forth across the road on Carl Vinson Pkwy, we were able to quickly turn around and get her to come in the car before she could be hit. Appears to be in heat, very obviously someone’s baby because her nails look neatly trimmed and she’s very sweet. She is safe in our backyard at the moment.

Update: we took her to animal urgent care on Watson to be checked for a microchip before they closed, she is in fact chipped. She was apparently purchased from a “premium breed” puppy mill pet store in Kennesaw, she has no name on her microchip but the number for the store as well as the owner’s name and number are on it. Urgent care tried calling the owner 5 times, there was no answer and no voicemail is set up to leave one. Since they were getting ready to close we were given the names and numbers to keep trying. We’ve called the owner and sent some text messages, no answer as of yet and no response to any of the posts I’ve made, I also haven’t seen anyone post her missing as of yet. This wouldn’t be the first time we’ve found a pet with a chip that leads to an owner who doesn’t want them, so it’s hard but trying to remain positive and not judge the situation. She is at least inside and safe.
