Trying to get this poor bud back to his owner! Found with no collar and he’s not chipped. Taking good care of him until he can be reunited with his human.

If no one claims him, I hope this information helps you. Hello! This info will help you find a home for a pet. And there is pet food pantry & church food pantry information. And free items information. I’ve sent this to many. I hope this message doesn’t go to your spam folder. (There are pet food pantries in some places. They give away free pet food, and sometimes have free cat litter. Just internet search your city and state plus pet food pantry, and they will show up in the results.) You can put a post for a pet on the website Nextdoor. I’ve seen pets get homes right away on there. It’s a great site that is very local to where you are. Bad people sometimes enjoy hurting kittens & cats. Kittys are often free, easy to get, helpless and sweet and innocent, so they are easy targets for bad people. Please be careful who you adopt to. Use your instinct. Ask the person who wants to adopt for two personal references. Most of the time bad people can’t provide that. Ask the references if they think the person would provide a good home for the animal. A pet rescue might help you. Sometimes they may have too many animals. If you go to the website Petfinder, click on Shelters and Rescues, and put in your town, you’ll see your local pet rescues. Only contact rescues, because shelters may if they have too many pets. Sometimes a rescue you call may be full and can’t help you, but, if you call and email 50 rescues, someone will help you. Some people aren’t on the internet, so posting flyers is a great idea too. One of your neighbors might give your pet a home. You can post flyers on telephone poles, or some stores have bulletin boards. The more you advertise the more likely you’ll get homes sooner. If you tell ten people you won’t find a home, if you tell one thousand, you will. There are Facebook cat and dog adoption groups you can post to. Just put in your state, and dog or cat group in search and they’ll come up. Also, in case you didn’t know, there are often low cost vaccinations and low cost spay/neuter services available. You can google to find these. Some towns even have free rabies vaccinations. Just google what state you’re in and what you’re looking for. ………… This will help you find a church food pantry and free things: Food pantries sometimes have items like shampoo, toilet paper, personal care items like toothpaste. Make sure you ask. Some have clothes and shoes too. If you need food, you can do a Google search for church food pantries near the town you’re in or also the nearest city. There may be many….some have better and more food choices than others. Make sure you check the hours of the food pantry before you go. If they have a website it might say the hours and days it’s open. Or try calling the church to find out. And there are pet food pantries in some places too. They give away free pet food, and sometimes have free cat litter. Just internet search your city and state plus pet food pantry, and they will show up in the results. Some people give away free items on Craigslist in the free items section, in the for sale part. On Facebook Marketplace, search the word free, and items will show up in the search. The website, Nextdoor, has free items too. Nextdoor is a good website that is based near to where you live, because you need to put your address to have an account. They have local news, important information, events, and neighbors give advice and help each other out on there. You can post posts on there too. ………. If you’re looking for a kitty or doggy, many need homes right now. Check with a local rescue. Try to adopt two pets together at least. Then they will keep each other company when you’re not home. You can YouTube how to introduce pets to each other so they get along quicker. Just FYI…free cats/kittens may need to go to the vet. Pets from a rescue have already been to a vet and been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and dewormed. And checked out overall. This is why rescues have to charge a fee to recover some of the vet bills they’ve had to pay. Many people don’t know this. To find local places go to the website Petfinder, click on Shelters and Rescues, and put in your town. Kittens and puppies that rescues have usually aren’t posted on Petfinder. Mostly only adult animals are posted. You have to call every pet rescue or email them to find out if they have kittens or puppies and what type they have. Your local animal shelter or pound usually does not advertise. You have to visit the animal shelter yourself to see what dogs, puppies, cats & kittens they have. Some people didn’t grow up with cats so may not know that feral or stray cats are often called that because they are scared of people. They are scared of people because people have been mean to them. People yelled at them or scared them. So they don’t trust people. A big reason it’s too dangerous for cats outside is, mean people. ………….. Please give this to your friends & family. Some of them may need help and you don’t know it. …………. To share this, copy and paste it into text or email. You can google how to copy & paste if you don’t know how. Take care!
