Look at night with a flashlight while calling her name. Look especially under bushes and in neighbors yards garages and sheds. Look up in trees, Leave something outside with her scent on it like her bedding. Leave something outside with your scent on it like an unwashed piece of clothing. Leave out smelly cat food. Hang signs with her photo. Call and visit local shelters and veterinary offices. Good luck!🍀

Please file a missing cap report with the Virginia Beach animal shelter. If the cat is chipped, please make sure the chip registry has your current contact information. Visit the shelter several times a week to see if your cat has been brought in. If the cat has rabies tag attached to her collar is possible the person who finds her will contact your veterinarian and they will contact you that she’s been found. Tonight after 10 PM, go out on your yard with a bag of kitty treats and a flashlight. Walk around your yard calling your cat and shaking the kitty treats bag. Look in the bushes with your flashlight to see if your cat is hiding. Cats are more comfortable in the dark. Print flowers with your cat picture and your contact information and take around to your neighbors. Ask the neighbors if they’ve been in their shed garage or other outbuilding since your cats been missing. Cats will go in a dark space to hide and then when the owner closes the door, they can’t get out. Cats cannot be heard crying to get out of a shed or etc. because you can’t hear a cat crying unless you’re standing right next to the structure. Also, if there are any houses built on a crawlspace and the crawlspace is open check there. Check under porches decks anywhere a cat could hide.
