This applies to lost dogs too. Ask businesses and neighbors to watch cameras and call you immediately. As soon as there is a sighting, get food out along with a trail camera.

Take another furfriend for a walk letting urine and brush up on bushes, etc. You can make a scent trail as in the bottom of this photo. Hang out unwashed sheets too.
