Message from Owner

I so appreciate all of my neighbors efforts and kindness to help locate my much beloved 100% indoor cat. She got out while my son and I were unloading the car with groceries and other packages. She’s about 6 years old and is chipped. Her sister kitty is so confused about where she is. 😥. I’ve put some of her bedding on the front porch and her bed on my back porch. From the bottom of my heart, Thank you. Linda Clark

Leave some of your laundry outside your home to help him find his way home by scent. Also leave a door, lower window, garage door cracked open enough for him to find a way back into the home. They normally try to get back inside the same way they got out. If he is scared, he may be moving at night when it is quieter and looking for a way back inside. Hope this helps 🙏

Lost cat tips First report the pet at the microchip website as “lost”. Post pictures on next door, ring, PawBoost, local lost and found Facebook groups. Hang flyers around mailboxes. Give flyers to your neighbors. Go ask your neighbors if you can go look around in their front/backyard. Cats are usually only a few doors down. Put DIRTY blanket or clothes outside The dirtier the better (to catch your smell). Put some in your front porch. Put some in your garage and leave it cracked open just enough for them to squeeze in. Do not put litter box outside like other people say. The litter will attract predators. Go out looking for your kitty during dark hours when it’s most likely quiet. Preferably betweeen 3-5 am. Call out its name. If they recognize any sounds such as a treat bag, bring that with you. You can try playing crying kitten noises on your phone (YouTube). Do NOT listen to anyone who says to message “xyz page” on instagram/facebook for pet rescue/search team. These are SCAMS from hacked accounts. People will try to take advantage of your situation and will ask for money, with nothing in return. They are usually fake profiles. Lastly, if you have any traps for pets, set it with wet food nearby. Hopefully this all helps!
