Our senior dog wandered of 2 days ago, and we can't find him anywhere. He is 15 years old, and he can't hear very well. The picture shown here is several years old; his face is a lot grayer now, and his tail has lost a lot of fur. We are sick with worry about him! Please, if you are in our area, keep an eye out for him!

Please use his nose to help lure him back. Put out smelly food like rotisserie chicken. Use liquid smoke in a spray bottle mixed with water and shoot it up in the trees. Use the wagon wheel pattern. So no matter which way he went he may catch the scent. Make sure you get those sent items 3 to 5 ft off the ground so the wind can carry the smell. Keep the Crock-Pot or grill going with fatty meat like bacon that produces a nice smell or even liquid smoke, fatty hamburger. Anything you can find really but the fattier the better. Please immediately check all water sources as senior dogs usually travel downhill. Post to all local groups including next door and ring, blink etc. and ask anyone with video surveillance to check for possible sightings. Get posters and flyers up at Major intersections we're missing from immediately and keep checking the shelters in case someone brings them in.
