If you found it in a neighborhood, post signs that say something like, “found dog, must describe or send picture to claim”. We’ve had good luck with reunions that way, and stopping in nearby veterinary offices to see if they recognize it. Plus, they can scan for chips. Let each office do it, in case a different scanner was used. We had a vet tech recognize a dog we found, and called the owner and held it for them, which worked out great! Thanks for helping this cutie.

Just suggestions to possibly help find the owners: Please check/post on next door app. Check post on pawboost, lost & found pets of Cypress. I know you posted on the fb page, just checking if you looked through them to see if anyone has posted already looking for them. You might also try walking them in the area you found them to see if they lead you to their home. If possible can you put up posters and/or knock on doors near where they were found for people not on social media. You can also check area vets to see if they know the dog, anyone has come looking for it, or if you can put up a flyer there. Make sure anyone claiming to be the owner has proof (pictures/vet bills/etc) Thank you so much for keeping them safe and trying to find the owners.
