brown and white pit terrier with blue eyes. I cannot distinguish marks because I haven't been able to get close enough to her due to her being scared

My name is Tina, and I recently discovered that my next-door neighbors moved out and appear to have left their dog behind The landlord of the property has been leaving the gate open in hopes that the dog would leave on her own, but she has remained there. My daughters and I have been providing her with food and water, and we are very concerned for her well-being. She does not appear to be aggressive at all—if anything, she seems very scared and timid. For the past three days, she has mostly stayed in the same corner, and today is the first day she has moved around a little. Last night and early this morning, I could hear her crying, which was very upsetting. Unfortunately, I already have three dogs of my own and am unable to take her in. I am reaching out in hopes that your organization may be able to assist by taking her in or helping find her a safe . Please let me know if there is any additional information I can provide. Thank you so much for your time and consideration

Tina Marie Reece Ty so much angel 😇 for helping her. Please check ✅ vet references for anyone wanting her . You have to be very careful because some people may not have the best interest in mind & may want to use her for breeding, dog fighting or just to sell her . 😓😢 Look for the group Foster/Rescue Network it's a good Houston group to help find her a rescue & foster so she will be safe because they will get her fixed vetted & screen adopters .

o, I am the person that posted her on PawBoost & NextDoor. I am actively trying to find a safe home for her. The landlord of that property has called BARC on her so my other neighbor and I have purchased an outdoor doghouse and will be moving her to my patio temporarily until we can find her a good home. I have a couple of potential people who are willing to take her in bt it's the matter of gaining her trust to get her to come with me first. Unfortunately, I do not know the ex-neighbor's names or information because we did not associate at all prior to them moving. Thank you for your support.

How sad... poor baby. You can probably google animal rescues for pitt terriers and hopefully they can get her to a safe place. It tugs at my heart knowing she's crying, that is so heartbreaking to here. I hope if someone takes her they treat her well because she's beautiful. 🙏😢💔🐾 The resident that lived there can be charged with animal cruelty and abandonment if found
