Notify police, post on Nextdoor and Ring if possible. Notify the chip company if chipped and make sure your contact info is correct. Hang flyers in the area and check 24petconnect. com.

Go to all the pounds etc. DO NOT expect them to know if your dog is there from your description. YOU must physically go there every 3-4 days. Also while you are there, fill out a lost form and leave a good photo. Don’t rely on the form, YOU still need to visit every 3-4 days. Walk all kennels, adoptable and stray holds. Also please check Craigslist and anyplace someone would list a dog for sale. Also talk to everybody. The neighbors, church people, the police, mail carriers, delivery people. Everybody. Hopefully with photo in hand
