Qo Mar Thank you for having him neutered. Since he's an outside cat, ask your neighbors if they had any visitors or contractors doing work on their houses around the time he went missing. If so, call the visitors and businesses and ask them if they had an accidental stowaway. If he got into someone's vehicle and was let out miles away, it's still a good idea to give flyers to any TNR groups and community cat feeders in the area. He might turn up at a colony looking for food. Good luck ❤

Qo Mar He looks like an adult. Not being neutered means he's out looking for a girlfriend. Unneutered tomcats will travel up to 5 miles away for a female in heat, encountering many dangers: cars, dogs, coyotes, hawks, owls, mean people, and other unneutered tomcats who will fight him (even unalive him) for a female in heat. I'm not sure why you haven't gotten him neutered, but male cats can reach s3xual maturity by 6 months of age. Ideally, all cats should be fixed by 5 months of age. 😞 If you haven't already, put up flyers everywhere as many people aren't on social media. Since he's not microchipped, give flyers to every vet clinic, rescue, and shelter in the area in case he turns up. Ask ALL of them about any local TNR groups and community cat feeders, and give them flyers too, in case he turns up at a colony somewhere looking for a girlfriend. Having his picture in their hands will help keep him at the forefront of their minds. Ask your neighbors to check their cameras, garages, sheds, and crawlspaces. Walk the entire neighborhood in the wee hours with a flashlight and look for glowing eyes. Look up in trees in case he was chased. Call him in a regular voice (not panicked) and gently shake a treat bag if he likes that kind of stuff. If he's injured or scared, he's probably hunkered down and hiding, but he may not answer you when you call. That's just instinctual, as a vocal cat gives away their location to predators, and an injured cat is prey. When he comes home, keep him inside and get him neutered and microchipped ASAP. If you must let him out, consider buying or building a catio (some people have bought pre-made chicken coops and "attached" them to their houses with kitty access through a window); or, if you have a fenced-in yard, consider putting up cat-fencing or coyote rollers on top of the fence to keep him safely in your yard (both can be DIY). Good luck ❤
