Though it feels like it to his humans, a week is not a long time for a kitty to be missing. Tucker is likely very nearby. Cats have a keen sense of smell so put his favorite food, used litter box and some pieces of clothing with your scent on it outside and that may help attract him home. Also if he likes tuna, walk around the neighborhood with an open can clinking it with a spoon while you call his name. (This worked with one of our family cats not long ago.) He may be frightened and hiding so ask your neighbors to check their garages and shed areas. And put up detailed photo flyers EVERYWHERE, including shelters, vet offices and stores. Try not to be too discouraged or give up. A cat missing three months in Reston was recently returned after her flyer was seen at a Giant grocery store. (Friends who started a volunteer cat rescue say it's the flyers that most often gets them home.) Sending much caring and positive thoughts for a happy reunion...
