Look at night with a flashlight while calling her name. Look especially under bushes and in neighbors yards garages and sheds. Look up in trees, Leave something outside with her scent on it like her bedding. Leave something outside with your scent on it like an unwashed piece of clothing. Leave out smelly cat food. Hang signs with her photo. Call and visit local shelters and veterinary offices. Good luck!🍀

No matter how long your kitty has been gone, stay vigilant with all lost cat protocols and advice - kitty may have been taken in by a well meaning person and could be very near - keep posters and flyers fresh and communications current with local animal control, vets, and rescues for new leads - keep the faith 💪🏼 Use whatever is applicable in the following for your situation: Extra strength prayers your kitty is safe nearby (cats usually stay in the vicinity) and home very very soon - put their food and shelter outside your door in a protected area and/or in your garage - diligently canvas the area and local businesses with large colorful posters and flyers - contact local animal control, vets, and rescues for any possible leads - cross post on neighborhood/community FB pages for further reach - cats are superior survivalists - stay vigilant in searching and don’t lose hope 🙏🏻❤️💪🏼 P.s. Beware of scammers saying they have found your kitty and to message them your contact information. And also how an Instagram/FB site helped them find their pet - don't click on site. All BS scammers. 🙏❤️💪🏼

‼️LOST CAT TIPS‼️ If chipped call the microchip company ASAP, they will send out an alert. Call and report him/her missing to the SPCA and local police and contact www.lostmykitty.com and www.PawBoost.com right away! NEVER place a litter box as they attract predators. 99% of Lost Indoor Cats will return home on their own in response to proven recovery methods including being allowed re-entry access to the home thru the window or door thru which they escaped and not being chased. Make a quick online flyer about kitty being lost with cross streets it was last seen, a photo and your phone number. (Never give out your home address.) Blast the flyer everywhere including local pet lost and found groups. Send the flyer to local vet offices and pets stores asking them to share it. Check local lost and found pet groups on Facebook and the Nextdoor App. Ask neighbors if they have cameras or ring doorbells if they can look at their event history to see if he passed by. Alert all neighbors that live close to you that your kitty is missing and to keep a look out but do NOT chase! Check under the porches and back decks of neighbors as they make great hiding spots along with bushes.Continue calling out for kitty shaking their favorite bag of treats. Evening/night and early morning are the best times to look. If you get confirmed sightings or you think kitty is nearby, Buy or Rent a trap from a rescue, vet, police station, friend, or neighbor. Get a can of stinky tuna or sardines in oil, put the trap by your house or building, and put the food inside (1 can at a time on a small paper plate). Write a note “Please don’t touch, trapping lost cat, please call (add your #) if seen” Check the trap every 15 min as you might get other wildlife caught and need to be released. Be patient it can take a couple of days to catch him as cats get scarred when not used to being outside, they act differently. They normally hide during the day and come out at night. 🙏🏻 I hope you find him soon 🐈‍⬛❗
