He is a mixed breed with brown/black/tan fur. Brown eyes. About 45-50 pounds. We are unsure of his breed but likely a terrier mix. He looks like a giant Yorkie. Barney is the sweetest boy. He truly never does a thing wrong. He went missing about 3:30pm on 7/7/26. We are desperate to get him back.

Last seen at our hse on 8th Street rd Huntington, wv. Our dogs like to run up the woods/mountain towards mt union rd, hilltop rd, camp creek rd but they always stay in the woods and come back home. They went missing in Jan and were found caught in coyote traps between Camp Crk Road and Right Camp Creek Rd. Otherwise my dogs have never done this. Barney is the sweetest boy. He truly never does a thing wrong. He went missing about 3:30pm on 7/7/26. We are desperate to get him back.

Just an idea for anyone who has lost an animal. Make flyers. About 20 copies. Take one to the shelter, and ask if they can hang it up. Also ask if they can give the rest to the animal control drivers. To keep in their trucks. Give flyers to the mailman, ups and fedex drivers. Also save the post you made on lost and found. Post it once a week, just to keep people informed that you're still looking. Also keep in contact with the shelter once a week, to make sure they haven't forgotten. You may also ask the shelter if they will share your lost animal post on their page. Whatever you do. NEVER GIVE UP.

Go to Huntington Cabell Wayne Animal Shelter to look frequently. Post on cabell Wayne animal shelter website. Put up bright colored signs
