FOUND SAFE AND SOUND! 🥹❤️🎉 We are beyond relieved to share that Velvet Julia is officially back home and safe! She managed to get herself stuck up in a neighbour’s car engine bay/wheel arch, but thanks to the absolute heroes at the local Fire Service and our amazing neighbours who rallied around to help, we got her out! Thank you so much to every single person who shared our posts, sent lovely advice, and kept an eye out. Your kindness meant the world to us over the last couple of days! Time for lots of quiet cuddles and treats. 🖤🐾

🐾 MOGGIES & DOGGIES – ESCAPED 🏡INDOOR CAT🏡 ADVICE 🐾 (What to do if your indoor cat has slipped out) ✅ Stay calm & search nearby immediately Indoor cats rarely go far at first. Check your garden, neighbours’ gardens, under cars, sheds, and bushes. 🔦 Search at night or early morning Use a torch — scared cats often hide in silence, and their eyes reflect in light. 📣 Call softly & listen Speak in a gentle, familiar voice. Shake treats or tap their food bowl. Be patient — they may hide quietly. 👕 Put familiar scents outside Place their bedding, a favourite blanket, or a worn jumper near doors and windows to help guide them home. 🥫 Leave a small amount of food & water Strong-smelling food like tuna can help lure them back, but don’t leave large quantities overnight. 🪧 Alert your community Post in local Facebook groups, Nextdoor, and put up posters with a photo, location, and contact info. 🏥 Call local vets & rescues Indoor cats are often handed in by neighbours or found wandering frightened. 📌 Report them to the microchip company Ensure your indoor cat is flagged as lost in the database. 🏛️ Contact your local council / stray animal service Some found cats are reported there first. ❤️ Don’t panic if they don’t appear immediately Indoor cats are often hiding nearby and may return on their own after a day or two.

Kav Ya Please check garages, garden bushes if neighbours etc YOURSELF. Your cat will most likely respond to you. Leave shed doors etc open for a good time, be patient ok. Take treats and water check for empty yards, homes too.Go out late at night or early hours of morning when it's quiet and safer for cats to cross roads and come out of hiding. Try to search by thinking of your home as centre of a circle. Go to edge of circle, then start calling, stop, listen hard, repeat slowly all the way back home. Repeat from different points on circle. If your cat hears you they will follow your voice in the right direction. Do same when door knocking. Your cat could be laying low to feel safe.
