Message from Finder

Someone posted this missing dog on Ring Neighbors (unsure of exact address, somewhere in/near the Ravensway neighborhood) and appears more interested in trying to rehome this dog than to find her true owners! Please, if this is your dog or know who this dog belongs to, try to get your dog back ASAP before they give her away!!!!! This is the text from their post: "Found female Yorkie, appears to be spayed, very sweet dog, potty trained, I wish could keep here but I already have a dog and my dog is very jealous and acts aggressive towards her. I want to make sure she goes to a loving . If you know someone missing a Yorkie or someone willing to take her in please let me know." Picture is one they used on that post. I pray you get your pup back safely and without issue!

Angela Silcox please read my comments above and the screenshots. I asked if anyone knew the owners or someone missing a dog and how my dog has tried to attack her so I can’t keep her. It is beyond crazy that I am trying to do the right thing and having to deal with this nonsense.

Angela Silcox the post was made by me and I invite you to read my screenshots above. It’s people who do things like this who make the next person pass by a stray and not want to help for fear of flogging by some weirdo. The post itself is proof I am trying to find the owner, but obviously since my dog does not get along with her I can’t keep her. But as I told the person who started this BS on the Ring app…There is no single statewide law regarding pet ownership and strays, even tho a pet is considered owned property. There are however city and county ordinances that state once someone has found and taken possession of a stray, if they are not able to locate the owner in 3 to 5 days, they become the new owner. Harris County states that you must make an effort to find the owner and if after those efforts are exhausted, after 7 days you become the new owner. This is so ing weird that I am even having to deal with this when literally all I am trying to do is the right thing. 🤦🏻‍♀️ If you can find my post on the Ring app there are multi people who have asked for her. I have not replied to one single comment on the post. EXCEPT for the who posted this and was talking 💩 on my thread. I honestly aghast that I am even dealing with this.
