Is he indoor only or indoor only? If he is not neutered and an outdoor kitty he could be in search to mate. That is the only reason an outdoor kitty will leave his territory on his own! Also people are actively doing TNR in neighborhoods and may mistake your cat for a stray since he is not neutered so make sure and post on Nextdoor, put fliers all around the area and file a lost report with the shelter asap! He could also be trapped somewhere nearby so shake his treats, call his name a look in sheds, garages, up in trees, on roofs, in storm drains, attics, bats, under houses etc. If he is indoor only he will be hiding nearby so look under decks, porches, cars and bushes with a flashlight even during the day! Ask neighbors to please check their property throughly! Hope you find him safe soon
