Message from Owner

Whimsy is a strictly indoor cat, 3 years old. She went missing some time after June 22, and i can only surmise that she slipped out the door somehow without my noticing, although she has never tried to get outside before. She is chipped, but does not wear a collar, as it would annoy her, and seems not really necessary for an indoor cat. Any clues as to her whereabouts would be very much appreciated! When i adopted her as a kitten, i changed her name from "Evia," which is still the name associated with her microchip, at "PetPlace." I haven't been able to figure out how to edit her profile there.

I’m thinking she probably won’t go far, since she’s not used to being outside. Could she be hiding somewhere nearby, too scared and disoriented to answer a call? There’s also the possibility that she’s not feeling well and is hiding somewhere in the house. It’s amazing how invisible they can become when they’re hiding.

Check Animal Shelters DAILY. Some Keep Pets 5 Day then put up for Adoption. Boots on the ground - Walk ur neighborhood check window wells, under decks, inside bushes, sheds, garages, under or behind dumpsters, under staircases etc. Shake bag of cat food as u are walking calling out, calling by name, saying are u hungry, bring flashlight. Some Cats will hide during day and roam at night when it's quiet. Knock on doors and ASK permission to search their backyards. Post Flyer's on neighbor's doors ***POST NEXTDOOR
