Message from Owner

Whimsy is a strictly indoor cat, 3 years old. She went missing some time after June 22, and i can only surmise that she slipped out the door somehow without my noticing, although she has never tried to get outside before. She is chipped, but does not wear a collar, as it would annoy her, and seems not really necessary for an indoor cat. Any clues as to her whereabouts would be very much appreciated! When i adopted her as a kitten, i changed her name from "Evia," which is still the name associated with her microchip, at "PetPlace." I haven't been able to figure out how to edit her profile there.

Get out calling Kitty's name especially early and late when it's quiet. Search high and low with a flashlight. Put up posters with number large. Enough to be seen while driving. And posts on next door

Please place it's bedding outside, along with the owner's unwashed clothing front and back door with a can of tuna on each entrance, you can leave your garage door a bit open as well. In case it comes in that way. And leaving food there as well. Also vacuumed home dirt in a stocking hanging it in front and back of home enterence . You can also add some catnip in a stocking hanging by your entrances. Show your neighbors a picture of the cat. Ten houses to the left ten house to the right front and back if they spot him to give you a call immediately. Go early in the morning and shake treats calling the cats name when things are quiet.. Tell neighbors to check their sheds and garage.Just in case it's trapped.. Also, you can install a camera to monitor and see if the cat is around your house . Best of luck finding your kitty 🙏 ❤️🏡🐾

Whimsy is not "street smart," and it is crushing to wonder if she has been hit by a car, taken by some predator (animal or human), or taken to a shelter where she will be killed or adopted out. I also hate to think of her crouching in fear during this thunder and lightening storm ...
