Who is missing this sweet boy? Super friendly came right to me and looks like he had a collar on before. Out near pender memorial hosp is where I found him. Edit: After an hour, I was able to get him in my car and brought him home because everything is closed until Monday. Animal control wouldn't help because its not an emergency. I have him in my she shed in a 8ft fenced yard with A/C and blankets and a TV. He's super anxious but seems to be okay for now. I have 3 dogs of my own so I cant keep him past Monday so I hope I find his home before then!

‼️‼️Update ‼️‼️ I received a message from someone who works at Pender County animal shelter today. She let me know that today(5/17/26) was their last day for intake before closing down for a bit. I was able to get him there just before 4pm when they closed. Unfortunately, he is not chipped 🥺 but he is safe with them. Im not sure where all Pender County shelter animals are going for the time being but he will be in their custody until owner claims or he is adopted out. Thanks for all the shares! I wish he could have stayed with me he was such a sweetheart! Hopefully he finds his forever home soon🖤

any day you can take him to any animal hospital with a leash and a collar on something to contain him you don’t want him jumping out at any vet or any animal hospital they’re the only ones open right now until Monday morning, and they will microchip scan him for free thank you for being kind. Please keep him safe.🙏🐾🙏
