MESSAGE FROM OWNER
Chip is our world! My husband and I thought he was a stray dog in our neighborhood when we first moved to the area because he often wandered around the area with no collar, and had incredibly long matted hair that was covered in feces and infested with fleas. Chip often came around looking for our other dog Ollie but would never let humans near him. Slowly he would let me closer and closer until one day he started camping out on our porch and then invited himself into our . We decided to take him in and care for him. He’s been living a very full life with us for the last 6-7months. Up until recently while my husband and I were away, a neighbor had came to claim Chip from a relative (who was supposed to be dogsitting), who then handed him over without informing us. Turns out Chip tried running away, when they got him back they decided they couldn’t handle him and ended up rehoming him to a mutual family friend of ours. However Chip made several escapes, until finally they were not able to get a hold of him anymore. That was the last we’ve heard :( We just want our baby back and are willing to offer a reward to anyone who can return him safely to us! Roughly 10-13 lbs Tail coils Not fixed Has an underbite with a snaggle tooth He’s very curious but gets startled very easily. If seen, please approach very slowly, getting down closer to his level with your palms out for him to sniff. He’s very friendly just timid at first. He’s much more likely to approach women over men.
