Doubles is not a cat accustomed to being outdoors. He is in fact quite the couch potato. Although extremly gentle he is also quite shy and most likely would be reluctant to interact with strangers. We have been out of town for two weeks and our cat sitter says he is certain no cats went out during his visits and does not remember seeing Doubles when he has stopped by to tend to our cats. We wonder if, even though it would be very unlike him, he might have gotten outdoors inadvertently while we were loading the car two weeks ago as all our cats tend to go into deep hiding mode if they suspect a trip is imminent. Upon our return we have searched all the cats favorite hiding spots and cannot find him.
