Try a professional pet tracker asap. Be careful of scammers. Put up flyers everywhere asap. It will help a lot. Be sure to tell people to take a picture of the flyer so they'll have your phone number too much. Also people put their dirty laundry outside for the scent of home. Try calling him when it's all quiet like at 4 am or so. I've heard indoor cats may not go too far away

Ive also seen a gray cat hanging around our yard and was able to get a picture of her through my back door one night. We have a few strays that we try and take care of and we leave food and water out for them. This picture was taken on february 24th, so may not be your kitty, but thought I would share.
