This sweet girl walked up to my office at work and allowed me to quickly slip a lead over her head and take her inside to cool down and get some water. She is cuddly and sweet and seems like she had to have come from a loving home. We would love to reunite her with her family! We have had no luck posting her on the Champaign area Facebook page, so we hope her owners see her here! She is getting along with our other dogs, loves to play, and is full of energy! She seems like she is only a few years old, and has possibly had puppies before. Please share so we can get this girl back home!

Omg!! Poor baby!! That’s awful! She definitely needs a responsible owner! Thankyou for taking care of her & trying to find a home . I would be very careful who she goes to next She’s a cutie❤️❤️

Penny Smith Russell I spoke with the leasing office of the apartments she came from and they said she has been free roaming there her whole life. Her owners tried to pawn her off on another resident and she couldn’t keep her so she brought her up to the front of the property to the leasing office to see if they could take her, and they said they could not, so I’m assuming the resident just let her loose, and now that she was brought to the front of the lot she wandered straight out of their gates and walked right up to me at work. She has been with us for 3 weeks, we are trying to find her a loving home at this point!!

Linda Maier I’m the one who found her, and yes, we did stop by the vet on our way home yesterday to check for a chip and there was none. They did a full body scan just to be sure it hadn’t migrated and nothing came up :(
