Friendly and well fed shepherd mix

He's wet and covered in bugs, but well fed and groomed under all the yuck. Basic commands was very responsive. Hung around while I waited to try and get some official somebody (holiday here so everybody is closed) to help, and took off into the woods as soon as I ran out of snacks. I did not have a leash with me, and could not allow him into my car sadly. My sense is he's on walkabout and a repeat travelin man lookin for love. I do have his Pethub #CMA549008 but it isn't activated. I will be calling animal control on Monday when they are open and any recommendations for a shelter, I'll head out and try to find him again for sure.
